Zomato witnessed high volatility on Tuesday, 5th March, with the stock swinging widely before ending the session with losses. The shares kickstarted the day on a positive note, opening at Rs 170.75 compared to the previous close of Rs 169.80. Buying interest pushed the price higher to an intraday high of Rs 171.50.
However, profit-booking emerged at higher levels, triggering a sharp downturn. Zomato plunged to an intraday low of Rs 164.05 as selling intensified. The stock struggled to regain ground and ultimately ended at Rs 165.85, declining by 2.33% over its last close. The session recorded robust trading volumes of Rs 48,617.04 lakhs.
As of Tuesday’s close, Zomato commands a market capitalization of around Rs 1,46,276 crores.
