Zomato’s share price witnessed a volatile trading session on Thursday. The stock opened marginally higher at Rs 161.75 compared to the previous close of Rs 161.55. Buying interest pushed the price higher to an intraday high of Rs 163.45 as the session progressed.

However, profit-booking emerged at higher levels, capping the upside. Zomato witnessed a sharp reversal, plunging to an intraday low of Rs 158.65 as selling intensified. The counter recouped some losses but lacked follow-through momentum.

Zomato finally settled at Rs 160, down 0.96% from its last close. The session recorded significant trading volumes of Rs 69,896.38 lakhs. As of Thursday’s close, Zomato commands a market capitalization of around Rs 1,41,116 crores.
