Zen Technologies Ltd shares jump over 5% today after the company announced that it has been awarded two major contracts worth ₹289 crore (including GST) from the Ministry of Defence, Government of India.
According to the company’s statement, the contracts are for the upgradation of its indigenously developed Anti-Drone Systems (ADS). The projects are expected to be completed within a year.
Zen Technologies said that these orders reaffirm the importance of Indigenously Designed, Developed, and Manufactured (IDDM) solutions in strengthening India’s defence ecosystem. The company’s Anti-Drone Systems play a critical role in detecting, tracking, and neutralizing hostile unmanned aerial threats.
The fresh orders are expected to further boost Zen Technologies’ order book and reinforce its position as a leading player in counter-drone and simulation-based defence technologies.
