Wipro Ltd witnessed a massive block deal on June 11, 2025, as 18.05 crore equity shares, representing approximately 1.77% of the company’s total equity, changed hands. The transaction, executed via the block deal window, was valued at ₹4,675 crore, with shares traded at ₹259 apiece.

The identity of the buyers and sellers involved in the deal has not been officially disclosed yet.

On June 9, the Azim Premji Trust executed a major block deal involving 20.23 crore Wipro shares, valued at over ₹5,000 crore. The transaction, largely categorized as an inter-promoter transfer, saw significant participation from Hasham Traders and Prazim Traders, who acquired 11.9 crore and 5.95 crore shares, respectively. The second tranche of the deal occurred at 2:00 PM IST via the block deal window.

In the meantime, Wipro shares opened at ₹256.02 and climbed to a high of ₹261.60 during the trading session, while the low touched ₹254.10. The stock remains below its 52-week high of ₹324.60 but stays comfortably above its 52-week low of ₹228.00. As of 2:24 PM, the shares were trading 1.86% higter at Rs 259.60.
