Welspun Specialty shares dropped more than 5% in morning trade after the company reported poor FY25 results.

The company’s revenue for Q2 FY25 was ₹167.42 crore, down 19.6% YoY from ₹207.82 crore in Q2 FY24. Revenue increased by 3.3% sequentially from ₹162.10 crore in Q1 FY25.

Welspun Specialty Solutions reported a net loss of ₹6.35 crore in Q2 FY25, compared to net profit of ₹5.20 crore the previous year. The company’s net profit decreased significantly from ₹1.95 crore in the previous quarter (QoQ).

As of 9:45 am, Welspun Specialty shares were trading 5.01% lower at Rs 40.93 on the NSE.
