Shares of VST Tillers Tractors declined more than 7% in early trade on Monday after the company reported a sharp fall in net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 2026, despite growth in revenue and operating performance.
At around 9:42 AM IST, VST Tillers Tractors shares were trading sharply lower after touching an intraday low of Rs 4,404 on the NSE. The stock opened at Rs 4,700 against its previous close of Rs 4,773.50. During the session, the stock also touched an intraday high of Rs 4,713.50. The company’s 52-week high stands at Rs 6,374, while the 52-week low is Rs 3,580.10. Live traded volume stood at 11,441 shares.
For the March quarter, the company reported consolidated revenue of Rs 328.5 crore, marking a 9% increase compared to Rs 301.4 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
EBITDA rose 16.1% year-on-year to Rs 46.8 crore from Rs 40.3 crore, indicating improved operational performance. EBITDA margin also improved by 80 basis points to 14.2% from 13.4% in the year-ago period.
However, the company’s net profit plunged 79.1% to Rs 5.1 crore compared to Rs 24.4 crore reported in the same quarter last year, weighing heavily on investor sentiment and triggering sharp selling pressure in the stock.
