The company said it has made its first investment under BLUE SEED, supporting Bengaluru-based Nimble Vision, a DeepTech startup focused on indigenous solutions for water conservation, automation, and real-time analytics.

According to the company’s press release, BLUE SEED is a strategic initiative aimed at fostering WATERPRENEURS and scaling innovative water technology startups across India. The move underscores Wabag’s long-term vision of building a self-reliant, technology-driven water ecosystem while driving digital transformation in water management.


Investment objectives

Through this partnership, Wabag aims to strengthen India’s DeepTech capabilities in the water sector by combining Nimble Vision’s technological innovation with Wabag’s global experience. The investment will help expand Nimble Vision’s IoT-based automation systems across water supply, treatment, and distribution networks.

The collaboration will focus on:

  • Enhancing AI-based predictive analytics for leakage detection, energy optimization, and water quality management.
  • Developing smart sensors and controllers under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
  • Deploying scalable automation platforms across municipalities, industries, and communities.
