V-Mart Retail shares surged 8% after the company reported a strong set of numbers for Q1FY26, driven by solid growth in profit and operational performance.
The company posted a net profit of ₹34 crore for the quarter, up a sharp 183.3% year-on-year from ₹12 crore in Q1FY25.
Revenue rose 12.6% to ₹885.2 crore from ₹786 crore in the same quarter last year. EBITDA also witnessed strong growth, rising 27.5% year-on-year to ₹126.4 crore versus ₹99.1 crore. The EBITDA margin improved to 14.28%, compared to 12.61% in the year-ago period, signaling better cost control and scale benefits.
V-Mart Retail shares opened at ₹773.25 and touched a high of ₹856.00 during the session. The stock also saw a low of ₹763.00. V-Mart’s 52-week high stands at ₹1,130.00, while the 52-week low is ₹676.04.
