V-Mart Retail, a value fashion, and lifestyle products company, registered a net loss of Rs 18.96 crore in the second quarter. In the previous fiscal year, the company declared a net loss of Rs 18.04 crore in the July-September period.
The company’s total income tumbled down by 39.58 percent to Rs 190.52 crores during the under-review period. In the previous fiscal year, the company posted an earning of Rs 315.33 crores.
Against the income, the total expense of the company was Rs 216.25 crore in the second quarter of FY21. There was a drop of 36.06 percent from Rs 338.21 crore in the previous year.
The shares of V-mart Retail Ltd took the blow and settled at Rs 1,965.40 on BSE. The shares were 0.78 percent down comparatively from the previous close.
