United Spirits’ stock dropped over 4% following the announcement of a leadership transition. Hina Nagarajan, Managing Director and CEO, will step down on March 31, 2025, after four successful years, to take on a new role within the Diageo Group.

The company has appointed Praveen Someshwar as CEO-Designate, effective March 1, 2025. Someshwar will collaborate with Nagarajan to ensure a smooth transition before officially assuming the roles of Managing Director and CEO on April 1, 2025, subject to regulatory approvals.

United Spirits shares opened today at ₹1,462.25, reaching a high of ₹1,468 and a low of ₹1,415 during the session. The stock’s 52-week high stands at ₹1,700, while its 52-week low is ₹1,061.30, reflecting a wide trading range. As of 9:37 AM, the shares were trading 4.16% lower at ₹1,421.85.
