Unichem Laboratories has updated its status regarding the USFDA inspection of its Goa formulation facility. The company’s latest filing confirms that the USFDA has classified the inspection as Voluntary Action Indicated (VAI).
This follows a previous update on July 15, 2024, when Unichem first communicated the inspection details to the stock exchange. The VAI classification indicates that while there were observations, the issues are not deemed severe enough to warrant immediate regulatory action.
As of 1:40 PM the shares were trading 1.77% higher at ₹576.50 on NSE.
