Ukraine’s Air Force on Monday said it intercepted 115 Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) overnight along with a Kh-47M2 Kinzhal hypersonic ballistic missile, following one of the largest aerial assaults in recent weeks.

According to the statement posted on Telegram, Russian forces launched a barrage consisting of:

  • 3 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles from Russia’s Lipetsk region

  • 4 Iskander-M ballistic missiles from Russian-occupied Crimea

  • 5 S-300/S-400 missiles from the Kursk region

  • 138 Shahed-type and other attack drones from multiple directions, including Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk

Ukrainian air-defense units reported successfully neutralizing 115 drones, while 20 drones and missiles hit 11 locations across the country.

Military officials warned that several Russian drones remained airborne at the time of the announcement and urged citizens to adhere to safety guidance during ongoing air-raid alerts.
