Shares of TVS Motor Company climbed over 2% in early trade on Wednesday after the company reported its highest-ever quarterly sales performance for Q3 FY26. Following the strong sales update, TVS Motor shares traded higher in early deals. As of 9:28 AM IST, the stock was up 1.95% at ₹3,868.30.

In Q3 FY26, TVS Motor’s total sales volumes rose 27% year-on-year to 15.44 lakh units, marking the best quarterly performance in the company’s history. Two-wheeler sales remained the key growth driver, increasing 25% YoY to 14.84 lakh units compared with 11.83 lakh units in the same quarter last year. The three-wheeler segment delivered a standout performance, with volumes surging 106% YoY to 0.60 lakh units from 0.29 lakh units in Q3 FY25, reflecting strong recovery and demand momentum in the category.

The company’s international business also posted healthy traction during the quarter. Exports grew 40% YoY to 4.10 lakh units, up from 2.94 lakh units a year earlier, supported by improved demand across key overseas markets and steady expansion of the product portfolio.

TVS Motor’s performance strengthened further in December 2025, with total sales jumping 50% YoY to 4,81,389 units, compared with 3,21,687 units sold in December 2024. Domestic demand remained robust, as domestic two-wheeler sales rose 54% YoY to 3,30,362 units. Overall two-wheeler volumes increased 48% YoY to 4,61,071 units during the month.

Within the two-wheeler segment, motorcycle sales grew 50% YoY to 2,16,867 units, while scooter sales climbed 48% YoY to 1,98,017 units, indicating sustained demand across both commuter and premium categories. Electric vehicles continued to gain traction, with EV sales surging 77% YoY to 35,605 units in December 2025, underscoring the company’s growing presence in the electric mobility space.

Three-wheeler sales more than doubled during the month, rising 110% YoY to 20,318 units, reflecting broad-based strength across domestic and commercial demand segments. Exports for December stood at 1,46,022 units, up 40% YoY, with two-wheeler exports increasing 35% YoY to 1,30,709 units.
