After a morning of disruption, trading on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) has now resumed following a technical glitch that halted operations for more than an hour.
The exchange earlier announced two expected restart times — 9:45 am and later 10:10 am — but trading could only restart after further delays.
The glitch was reportedly linked to issues in the margin calculation system, which also caused prices to freeze around 9:05 am, as noted by users on social media.
MCX has not yet provided details on what caused the issue or how it was resolved, but operations are now back online. Traders are advised to monitor official notifications for any further updates.
