The Indian equity market is expected to open on a flat note today. As of 8:15 AM, GIFT Nifty futures were trading 0.27% higher at 23,140.50. In the previous session, Sensex and Nifty extended their losing streak to six sessions but managed a partial recovery by the end of the day. The BSE Sensex closed at 76,171.08, down 122.52 points or 0.16%, while Nifty50 ended at 23,045.25, down 26.55 points or 0.12%.
