Indian equity benchmarks were largely rangebound at midday on February 6, with marginal cuts in the Nifty 50 and Bank Nifty, even as select heavyweight stocks provided support. Telecom stock Bharti Airtel rose 1.8% to ₹2,028.3, contributing to the limited gains seen in the frontline index.

Hindustan Unilever traded 1.2% higher at ₹2,383.5, in line with selective buying interest in FMCG stocks.

Power Grid Corporation was also up 0.8%, trading at ₹291.7 in the first half of the session.
