Indian equity benchmarks were largely range-bound in midday trade on Wednesday, Feb 4, even as select Nifty 50 constituents witnessed notable buying interest. At around 12:20 PM IST, the Nifty traded at 25,733.40, up 0.02%, while the Sensex slipped 0.11% to 83,650.72. Broader indices also showed mild strength, with Bank Nifty up 0.26% and Fin Nifty rising 0.39%.

Within the Nifty 50 pack, Eternal emerged as the top gainer in midday trade, rising 4.5% to ₹292.5. The stock saw the sharpest percentage uptick among index constituents during the session.

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation followed, gaining 3.9% to ₹267.0, reflecting firm intraday momentum. Trent advanced 2.9% to ₹3,933.6.

Power sector stocks also featured among the gainers, with Power Grid Corporation rising 2.8% to ₹291.1, while NTPC added 2.0% to trade at ₹365.6.

Auto major Maruti Suzuki India gained 2.0%, with the stock quoted at ₹15,084.0 in midday trade. In the diversified space, Grasim Industries moved up 1.7% to ₹2,856.0.

Consumer-facing stocks also showed mild strength. Titan Company rose 1.6% to ₹4,135.5, while Jio Financial Services gained 1.6% to ₹268.1.

Rounding out the top gainers list was Mahindra & Mahindra, which traded 1.6% higher at ₹3,583.0 during midday hours.
