Top gainers among Nifty 50 stocks in midday trade on February 10 (IST) reflected selective buying across metals, autos, IT and banking names, even as headline indices traded with modest gains.
At the index level, the Nifty 50 was trading at 25,958.85, up 0.35%, while the Sensex rose 0.38% to 84,381.11. Bank Nifty added 0.09% to 60,725.80, and the Nifty Midcap index outperformed with a 0.49% gain at 13,936.25.
Among individual stocks, Eternal emerged as the top gainer on the Nifty 50, trading at ₹303.80, up 5.20% in midday deals.
Tata Steel followed, rising 2.50% to ₹207.00, supported by continued strength in metal stocks.
Auto majors also featured prominently. Maruti Suzuki India advanced 2.20% to ₹15,312.00, while Bajaj Auto gained 2.20% to trade at ₹9,802.50. Mahindra & Mahindra was up 2.00% at ₹3,683.30, and Eicher Motors rose 1.60% to ₹7,311.50.
In the technology space, Tech Mahindra climbed 1.60% to ₹1,647.60, while Tata Consultancy Services traded 1.60% higher at ₹2,995.10.
From the power and banking segments, NTPC gained 1.30% to ₹366.70, and Axis Bank was up 1.20%, trading at ₹1,356.90.
Overall, the midday session saw steady gains among heavyweight stocks, with advances largely tracking broader market movement rather than sharp stock-specific triggers.
