Titan Company’s shares surged more than 4% in early trade today after the firm reported solid growth across its consumer businesses for the second quarter of FY26. As of 9:21 AM, the shares were trading 3.69% higher at Rs 3,544.30.

The company’s overall business grew about 20% year-on-year, supported by robust performance in its jewellery and international segments. Titan also expanded its retail presence with 55 new stores, taking the total count to 3,377 outlets across India and overseas.

Jewellery Business Drives Growth
The domestic business registered 18% growth YoY, with the jewellery segment leading at 19%. Higher gold prices boosted average ticket sizes, which helped offset a slight dip in customer volumes. Early festive buying and strategic campaigns such as exchange offers and promotional events added further momentum.

Brands like Tanishq, Mia, and Zoya recorded mid-teens growth, while CaratLane grew 30% YoY, driven by strong online and store performance. Titan also launched its first dedicated wedding destination store, Rivaah, in Delhi. During the quarter, the company opened 34 new jewellery stores — including 6 Tanishq, 18 Mia, and 10 CaratLane outlets.

Watches and Eyewear Maintain Steady Pace
The watches division reported 12% YoY growth, supported by a 17% rise in the analog segment. Titan-branded watches performed well during the festive season, while smart wearables faced a 23% YoY decline. The company added 15 new stores under Titan World, Helios, and Fastrack.

EyeCare business grew 9% YoY, driven by strong demand for international brands and sunglasses, alongside higher online sales. Five new Runway stores were added in the quarter.

Emerging and International Businesses Continue to Expand
Emerging categories delivered a robust 37% YoY growth, led by fragrances (up 48%), women’s bags (up 90%), and Taneira (up 13%). Meanwhile, the international segment surged 86% YoY, powered by Tanishq’s business doubling in the US and recording strong double-digit growth across the GCC region. Titan also opened a new store in Virginia, USA, further expanding its overseas footprint.
