Shares of TGV SRAAC Ltd gained over 2% in Monday’s trade, rising to ₹119.75 on the BSE, after the company announced a key capacity addition in its renewable and co-gen portfolio.

The company informed that it has added 5.0 MWp solar power capacity, taking its total installed solar capacity from 50.40 MWp to 55.40 MWp. In addition, TGV SRAAC has commissioned a 10 MW Back Pressure Steam Turbo Generator at its Co-Gen Power Plant. The company clarified that the entire power generated from this new generator will be used for captive consumption, reducing external energy dependence and improving operational efficiency.

At the time of writing, the stock traded up 2.13% at ₹119.75 compared to the previous close of ₹117.25.
