As of 2:16 PM IST, the stock was frozen at its day’s low of ₹55.24, compared with the previous close of ₹69.05. The counter opened at ₹69.70 and briefly touched an intraday high of ₹71.15 before intense selling pressure dragged it sharply lower. The stock has now retreated notably from its 52-week high of ₹75.90, though it still remains well above its 52-week low of ₹24.46.
Trading activity surged dramatically, with volumes crossing 3.77 crore shares by early afternoon, pointing to aggressive unwinding of positions.
