Tera Software Limited’s stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 128.23, rising 10% after the company, in consortium with ITI Ltd, secured a major Rs 3022 crore contract for the BharatNet Phase-3 project.
As the lowest bidder (L1), Tera Software will help expand broadband connectivity in rural India, covering Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal, and Andaman & Nicobar. The project, led by BSNL, aims to connect over 640,000 villages and Gram Panchayats with high-speed internet, significantly boosting rural digital infrastructure.
