Tamilnad Mercantile Bank’s shares soared over 3% in morning trading following the release of robust Q2 FY25 results.
The bank reported a 10.85% increase in net profit, reaching ₹303.18 crore for the quarter ending September 2024, compared to ₹273.51 crore in the same period last year. Total operating income also showed significant growth, rising 10.61% to ₹1,337.41 crore, up from ₹1,209.16 crore year-on-year.
As of 10:14 am, Tamilnad Mercantile Bank shares were trading 2.68% higher at Rs 443.20 on the NSE.
