TAC InfoSec Limited (NSE Emerge: INE0SOY01013), also known as TAC Security, a global cybersecurity firm specializing in vulnerability management, announced the successful completion of two key acquisitions in the United States and the UAE.

U.S. Acquisition: CyberSandia

TAC Security has successfully acquired CyberSandia, a U.S.-based cybersecurity firm with a statewide contract to provide IT services for the State of New Mexico. This move strengthens TAC Security’s position in the American market, particularly within the public sector. To further cement its presence in the region, Hector Balderas, the former Attorney General of New Mexico, has been appointed to the company’s U.S. Board of Directors.

The acquisition is expected to support TAC Security’s focus on delivering cybersecurity solutions to public and private entities in the U.S. In March 2023, New Mexico allocated a budget of $45 million for cybersecurity, reflecting the growing importance of protecting state assets and infrastructure against cyber threats.

UAE Expansion: TAC Cyber Security Consultancy L.L.C

In a strategic move to capitalize on the growing cybersecurity market in the Middle East, TAC Security has also acquired TAC Cyber Security Consultancy L.L.C, a wholly-owned subsidiary in the UAE. With the UAE serving as a significant hub for finance and technology, this expansion enables TAC Security to provide advanced cybersecurity services across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Middle East region.

The UAE subsidiary will allow the company to diversify its client base and deliver localized services throughout the GCC. The region’s rapid growth in cybersecurity needs makes this acquisition a critical step in enhancing TAC Security’s operational capabilities in the Middle East.

CEO Statement on Expansion

“We are excited to begin operations in the GCC with our new subsidiary in the UAE, allowing us to cater to one of the world’s fastest-growing markets for cybersecurity,” said Trishneet Arora, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of TAC Security. “The acquisition of CyberSandia is a significant milestone in our strategy to expand globally. With their established presence in the U.S., we aim to strengthen our services for government entities with reliable and scalable cybersecurity solutions.”

Strengthening Relationships and Global Operations

TAC Security has previously collaborated on various cybersecurity initiatives with the State of New Mexico, working with entities like the Office of State Auditor and the Office of Attorney General. The acquisition of CyberSandia, which holds an exclusive four-year contract to provide IT services for New Mexico, builds on this relationship.

Both the acquisitions reflect TAC Security’s consistent growth in the cybersecurity sector. The company’s platform, ESOF (Enterprise Security in One Framework), is utilized by enterprises and governments worldwide for comprehensive vulnerability management and cybersecurity solutions. These developments aim to strengthen TAC Security’s global presence, focusing on innovation and adapting to evolving cyber threats.
