
Shares of Swan Energy opened 5% higher on Tuesday and continued to surge after global asset manager BlackRock bought 18 lakh shares through block deals at ₹668.27 per share.
BlackRock, through its three affiliates, acquired 45.56 lakh shares, representing a 1.45% stake in Mumbai-based Swan Energy. The total transaction value was Rs 304.50 crore, according to data from the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
On the other hand, Mauritius-based private equity fund 2i Capital PCC, EOS Multi-Strategy Fund AIFLNP VCIC, Dovetail India Fund, Epitome Trading and Investments, and Paulomi Ketan Doshi were among the entities that sold shares of Swan Energy.
As of 10:15 am, Swan Energy shares were trading 5% higher at ₹727.20.
