Shares of Sula Vineyards Ltd gained 2.04% to ₹272.40 in Friday’s trade following a key leadership announcement by the company. Sula’s board has appointed Harish Acharekar as Associate Vice President – Global Brand Ambassador & Head of Experiential Marketing, effective April 10, 2025.

Harish Acharekar, a seasoned expert with over 16 years of experience in the alcoholic beverages sector, has previously worked with top brands such as Bacardi, Four Seasons, Brindco, and Food Matters. He is also a certified sommelier from the Court of Master Sommeliers and holds a WSET Level 3 certification in Wines & Spirits.

The move aligns with Sula’s strategy to expand its global brand presence and enhance customer engagement through immersive marketing experiences. The board approved the appointment during its meeting held between 2:15 PM and 3:00 PM on April 10.

Sula Vineyards, known for pioneering wine tourism in India, has a market capitalization of ₹22.99 billion and a dividend yield of 3.12%. The stock is currently trading within a 52-week range of ₹243.00 to ₹582.50.
