Subros Ltd shares climbed more than 3% in early trade after the company announced a fresh order win worth around ₹27 crore from Indian Railways, Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW), Varanasi. As of 9:24 AM, the shares were trading 3.67% higher at Rs 1,134.30.

As per the company’s exchange filing dated October 25, 2025, the order pertains to the supply of cabin air-conditioning equipment for Diesel Electric Locomotives. The execution will take place in multiple phases and is scheduled to be completed by October 16, 2026.

The total order value stands at ₹22.78 crore plus GST of ₹4.10 crore, bringing the overall contract size to nearly ₹27 crore. Subros noted that the deal has been awarded under standard Indian Railways terms and conditions and comes from a domestic entity.

The company also clarified that no promoters or group entities have any interest in the awarding party, and the contract does not qualify as a related-party transaction.
