The SGX Nifty signals a positive start for the Sensex, Nifty today. Cues from US markets remained largely positive as Dow Jones, S&P 500 and Nasdaq ended with gains of over 1% on Friday. The Nifty now will now approach levels of 17,800 on the upside according to the formation on charts, according to analysts. Immediate support for the Nifty today is at 17,250 and 17,383 will be the immediate resistance for the Nifty today.
Top stocks to watch today are Tata Motors, Maruti, Shriram Properties, RVNL, besides others.
Tata Motors: Shares of Tata Motors will be in focus as the company‘s total sales came in stronger than expected. On a year-on-year basis, the company’s total sales were up 1.7% at 90,867 units against 89,343 units.
Maruti Suzuki: Shares of Maruti Suzuki will be in focus today after the company on Saturday posted its highest ever total annual sales of 19.66 lakh units in FY23. In March, the company sold 1.7 lakh units, down 0.2% against the same month last year.
Shriram Properties: Shares of Shriram Properties will be in focus today as Navi Mumbai-based real estate player Aurum bought a 14.2% stake or 2.4 crore equity shares of the company in a block deal at an average price of Rs 55.05 per share. The seller in the block was PE firm WSI WSQI V (XXXII) Mauritius.
RVNL (Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd): RVNL bagged several orders, including a order worth Rs 720 crore for building a 6 lane elevated Kona Expressway in West Bengal.
