
The Indian stock market is likely to react to a host of corporate earnings, operational updates, and sector developments on Monday, April 29. Companies such as UCO Bank, Central Bank of India, Go Digit, Avenue Supermarts, Oberoi Realty, Ultratech, Vimta Labs, and RBL Bank are expected to be in focus.
UCO Bank reported a net profit of ₹652.43 crore for the March quarter compared to ₹525.77 crore in the corresponding period last year. Net interest income stood at ₹2,698 crore against ₹2,187 crore a year ago. Central Bank of India posted a net profit of ₹1,034 crore for Q4, up from ₹810 crore in the year-ago quarter, with revenue rising to ₹8,620 crore from ₹8,340 crore.
Go Digit announced a net profit of ₹116 crore for the quarter, higher than ₹53 crore reported a year earlier. Gross written premium during the quarter was ₹2,576 crore compared to ₹2,336 crore a year ago.
Avenue Supermarts stated that it has opened a new DMart store in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, taking the total number of operational DMart stores to 418 as of April 28, 2025.
Vimta Labs reported a net profit of ₹18 crore for the quarter ended March, compared to ₹14 crore in the same period last year, while revenue rose to ₹94 crore from ₹72 crore.
RBL Bank came into focus after Societe Generale purchased 36.39 lakh equity shares at an average price of ₹203.99 per share.
Oberoi Realty announced its financial results, posting a net profit of ₹433 crore for the March quarter. Revenue for the quarter stood at ₹1,150 crore.
Ultratech Cement provided an industry update, estimating a 7–8% growth in the cement sector for FY26, while noting that near-term demand could be impacted due to ongoing heatwave conditions across several parts of India.
Other stocks likely to remain active include CESC, which signed a Power Purchase Agreement for a 300 MW wind-solar hybrid project with Bhojraj Renewables Energy at a tariff of ₹3.81 per kWh, and Tiger Logistics, which secured five ODC project shipments from Italy for BHEL.
In addition, Avenue Supermarts, Wipro, Indian Hotels, Indegene, and AWL Agri also announced operational updates and quarterly results that could influence investor sentiment during the trading session.
