Ultratech Cement has reported a challenging performance for the second quarter of FY25, with declines in both revenue and profitability. The company’s net profit for Q2 FY25 fell by 36% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹825 crore, compared to ₹1,281 crore in the same quarter last year.

Revenue from operations also dropped by 2%, coming in at ₹15,635 crore for Q2 FY25, down from ₹16,012 crore in Q2 FY24.

Additionally, the company’s EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization) experienced a significant decline of 21% YoY, totaling ₹2,019 crore compared to ₹2,550.9 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

These results reflect cost pressures and challenging market conditions that have impacted Ultratech Cement’s financial performance for the quarter. Despite these hurdles, the company remains committed to enhancing operational efficiency and pursuing long-term growth.
