Apollo Tyres Ltd has released its Q2 FY2024-25 financial results, revealing a mixed performance with a slight increase in revenue but a substantial drop in profitability. The company’s consolidated revenue from operations rose by 2.5% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹6,437 crore, up from ₹6,279.57 crore in the same quarter last year. However, net profit after tax declined sharply by 37.3%, falling to ₹297.45 crore compared to ₹474.25 crore in Q2 FY24.

Quarterly Performance Highlights:

  • Revenue from Operations: Apollo Tyres reported a 2.5% YoY increase in revenue to ₹6,437 crore in Q2 FY25. On a sequential basis, revenue grew by 1.6% from ₹6,334.85 crore in Q1 FY25.
  • Net Profit: The company’s net profit for Q2 FY25 declined by 37.3% YoY to ₹297.45 crore, down from ₹474.25 crore in Q2 FY24. Sequentially, net profit fell by 1.5% from ₹302 crore in Q1 FY25.

The decline in profitability, despite moderate revenue growth, indicates potential challenges in managing operational costs or margins. Apollo Tyres’ performance in the coming quarters will be closely watched as the company navigates these pressures in an evolving market.
