Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited has taken another major step forward in the renewable EPC space by signing a five-year Strategic Partnership Framework Agreement with Adani Green Energy Limited. Along with this long-term collaboration, the company has also received its first purchase order under the agreement, marking a strong beginning to what is expected to be a powerful partnership in India’s clean-energy expansion.
The newly awarded order is valued at around ₹1,381 crore, excluding taxes, and covers a complete Balance of System package for three solar power projects at the massive Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat. Known as one of the world’s largest renewable energy developments, the Khavda region continues to be a crucial hub for India’s ambitious solar capacity growth, and Sterling & Wilson’s role in it further establishes its leadership in the sector.
What makes this development even more significant is that the order includes both supply of goods and comprehensive onsite services, giving Sterling & Wilson deeper involvement across the project lifecycle. At present, the company is already executing about 6 GW of projects in the Khavda area, with nearly 5 GW set for completion within the current fiscal year. The addition of this 1 GW project reinforces the company’s strong presence and influence in Gujarat’s fast-evolving renewable corridor.
