Shares of Steel Strips Wheels Ltd slipped over 1.5% to Rs 215.01 on Tuesday, November 12, following a weak set of second-quarter (Q2 FY26) results that reflected pressure on margins and profitability despite revenue growth.

The company reported a 23% year-on-year decline in net profit to Rs 35.5 crore, compared to Rs 46.1 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue, however, increased 9.6% YoY to Rs 1,201 crore from Rs 1,095 crore, indicating steady topline expansion.

Operationally, EBITDA fell 6.7% to Rs 111.5 crore from Rs 119.5 crore, while EBITDA margin contracted to 9.3% from 10.9%, down 160 basis points year-on-year.

At the current market price of Rs 215.01, Steel Strips Wheels commands a market capitalization of Rs 33,810 crore. The stock has a P/E ratio of 16.82 and a dividend yield of 0.58%. The scrip traded in the range of Rs 213.57 to Rs 225.72 during the day.
