Sona BLW shares rose over 4% in morning trades after the company signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with NEURA Robotics GmbH to jointly develop advanced robotic technologies and promote the industrialization of robots and humanoids in India and global markets. As of 9:47 AM, the shares were trading 3.89% higher at Rs 446.15.

The partnership will leverage Sona Comstar’s engineering and manufacturing expertise alongside NEURA Robotics’ cognitive robotics capabilities. The collaboration aims to develop next-generation robotic systems, including industrial automation solutions and humanoid robots, supporting the global shift toward intelligent automation powered by artificial intelligence (AI), advanced perception, and control technologies.

Founded in 2019 in Metzingen, Germany, NEURA Robotics specializes in “cognitive robots” that can see, hear, and learn autonomously, integrating AI and sensors for enhanced physical intelligence.

Sona Comstar, headquartered in Gurugram, India, is a leading supplier of electric powertrains, motors, inverters, and gearboxes, with operations across India, the U.S., Serbia, Mexico, and China. This collaboration positions SonaBLW at the forefront of India’s robotics and automation sector.
