Solarworld Energy Solutions witnessed a sharp rise in its stock price on Wednesday, Dec 10, with shares climbing 6.50% to Rs 303.05 after the company announced a significant contract win in Gujarat.

The company has signed a Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreement (BESPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam on 08 December 2025 for the development of 200 MW / 400 MWh Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The total value of the order stands at Rs 806.40 crore.

Solarworld confirmed that the project will be carried out as per the agreement terms. Following the announcement, the stock gained Rs 18.50 in early trade.
