Shares of Solar Industries are trading higher at ₹5244 in today’s morning session against the previous close of 5147.95 after the company receives order worth ₹1853 crore from Coal India.
Solar Industries has been awarded a substantial contract for explosives by Coal India Limited, amounting to Rs 1,853 crore. The company is committed to completing the order within a two-year timeframe (the company announced through exchange filing).
The company in the regulator filing said, “We are pleased to share that our company Solar Industries India Limited have received “biggest ever” orders worth Rs 1853 Crores from our prestigious customer Coal India Limited for supply of Bulk Explosives, to be delivered over a period of two years.”
At 9:20 shares or Solar Industries were trading 1.71% up or 88.15, or at ₹5236.
