Sahaj Solar Limited has achieved a significant milestone by securing a Letter of Award (LoA) from the Tripura Renewable Energy Development Agency (TREDA) for a major project under the PM-KUSUM Scheme (Component C), spearheaded by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India.

The project involves the solarization of existing 2 HP grid-connected agricultural pumps across the state of Tripura. The total value of the contract stands at ₹36.42 crore, including GST, and encompasses a wide range of services to ensure operational efficiency and sustainability.

Project Details:

  • Scope of Work: The project covers the supply, installation, commissioning, and integration of solar energy solutions for grid-connected agricultural pumps.
  • Comprehensive Solution: The contract includes a five-year guarantee and warranty period, a full-fledged annual maintenance contract (AMC), and insurance coverage for the solar equipment.
  • Timeline: The work is to be completed within 12 months from the issuance of the LoA, ensuring timely benefits to farmers.

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha Evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) Scheme aims to empower farmers by providing them access to reliable, sustainable, and cost-effective energy solutions.
