Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a significant Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) contract with South Central Railway. The project entails doubling the rail tracks between Navipet and Indalvai stations in Telangana, covering 33.7 km, with an additional electrification and signalling setup for the Mudkhed-Medchal Doubling Project.

The contract, valued at ₹294.95 crore, was awarded under EPC-08-CAO-C-SC-2024 and has a completion timeline of 24 months.
