RPP Infra Projects Ltd saw its shares climb nearly 6% in early trade after the company announced a fresh work order worth ₹25.99 crore. The contract covers the widening of the Hogenakkal–Pennagaram–Dharmapuri–Thirupathur Road (SH-60) in Tamil Nadu, upgrading the stretch from two lanes to four lanes.
The company confirmed that it has received the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the Office of the Superintending Engineer, Highways Construction and Maintenance, Tiruvannamalai Circle. This award adds another meaningful project to RPP Infra’s expanding domestic order book.
The contract focuses on enhancing a key State Highway corridor that links multiple districts. Once completed, the upgraded road is expected to ease traffic flow and strengthen regional connectivity. The total project value of ₹25.99 crore includes GST, and the execution timeline is set at 12 months from the official start date.
RPP Infra noted that the project will follow the standard requirements laid out by the Highways Department, including performance security and adherence to contractual conditions. The company also clarified that there is no promoter or group-company interest in the awarding authority, ruling out any related-party involvement.
