Shares of Royal Orchid Hotels surged 8.71% on Friday to ₹466.10 on the NSE after the company announced the opening of its new property, Regenta Place Ahmedabad, in Gujarat. The rally lifted the company’s market capitalization to ₹12.85 billion.
The 48-key hotel, located near SG Highway and Sindhu Bhavan Road, is designed for both business and leisure travellers. It features modern interiors, smart workspaces, high-speed Wi-Fi, and versatile meeting spaces, along with a fitness centre and approximately 6,000 square feet of banquet facilities. The property also houses Neighbourhood, an all-day 100% vegetarian restaurant serving authentic Gujarati flavours, and an exclusive Permit Room for guests with valid permits.
With this launch, Royal Orchid Hotels has expanded its Gujarat portfolio to 16 properties, further strengthening its presence in the state. Arjun Baljee, President of Royal Orchid Hotels, said the opening of Regenta Place Ahmedabad marks the group’s third property in the city and reflects its commitment to blending work and leisure for global travellers.
The company currently operates more than 110 hotels across India under its Royal Orchid and Regenta brands, catering to business and leisure travellers across multiple categories.
