Rakesh Jhunjhunwala appears as a shareholder in the September Shareholding after buying 4 crore shares of Tata Motors last month. Jhunjhunwala owns a 1.29% stake in Tata Motors as of September 2020. Earlier, the company said that Jhunjhunwala bought 4 crore shares in their company and entered in the list of biggest minor investors in Tata Motors.
After this, shares of the company traded at Rs 132.65, up 1.49 percent, on BSE at 12:50 hours but at 3:15 hours the shares traded at 126.75 INR down by 2.87 percent.
However, Jhunjhunwala is also a key investor in other Tata Group firms such as Titan, Indian Hotels, and Rallis India. While Jhunjhunwala bought 4 crore shares, his wife Rekha Jhunjhunwala sold 50,000 shares of Titan in the September quarter, according to the latest regulatory filing. Rekha Rakesh Jhunjhunwala held 96,90,575 shares, or a 1.09 percent stake in the company as of September 30 against 97,40,575 shares or a 1.10 percent stake at the end of the June quarter.
