Indian railway sector stocks traded broadly higher in morning trading as of 10:35 AM IST on Friday, April 17, 2026, with most counters posting gains while RailTel Corporation remained the sole decliner.

Ircon International led the pack with a sharp rise of 8.74% to ₹154.85 on BSE and 8.70% to ₹154.75 on NSE.

Rail Vikas Nigam advanced 4.50% to ₹306.85 on BSE and 4.37% to ₹306.74 on NSE.

RITES gained 4.16% to ₹225.10 on BSE and 4.04% to ₹224.90 on NSE.

Texmaco Rail rose 3.05% to ₹106.76 on BSE and 2.78% to ₹106.69 on NSE.

BEML advanced 2.47% to ₹1,783.10 on BSE and 2.39% to ₹1,781.50 on NSE.

IRFC gained 2.00% to ₹105.30 on BSE and 1.88% to ₹105.18 on NSE.

IRCTC rose 1.94% to ₹564.55 on BSE and 1.98% to ₹564.75 on NSE.

Titagarh Railsystems advanced 1.61% to ₹749.10 on BSE and 1.40% to ₹747.80 on NSE.

Container Corporation of India gained 1.22% to ₹508.20 on BSE and 1.07% to ₹507.60 on NSE.

On the downside, RailTel Corporation of India slipped 0.12% to ₹337.55 on BSE and 0.18% to ₹337.26 on NSE.

Benchmark indices also traded higher during the session. The Nifty 50 stood at 24,265.00, up 0.28%. The S&P BSE Sensex was at 78,271.85, up 0.36%.
