RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. saw its shares jump more than 3% on Tuesday after announcing that it has bagged fresh orders worth nearly ₹660 crore from the Bihar Education Project Council (BEPC). The company has received Letters of Acceptance (LOAs) for two large digital education projects to be implemented across the state.
Project Details
Under the agreements, RailTel will undertake the procurement, supply, and installation of Smart Classrooms in government schools across Bihar. The scope covers both middle schools as well as secondary and senior secondary schools, marking a significant push toward technology-enabled learning in the state.
