Vedanta Limited reported a strong set of financial results for the third quarter, delivering broad-based growth across profitability and revenue on a year-on-year basis, supported by improved operational performance and favourable commodity trends.

For Q3, Vedanta’s consolidated net profit surged 60.1% to ₹5,710 crore, compared with ₹3,547 crore in the same quarter last year. The sharp rise in profit reflects stronger operating leverage, better cost efficiencies, and higher realisations across key segments.

Revenue from operations for the quarter increased 37% YoY to ₹23,369 crore, up from ₹17,063 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Operating performance also strengthened during the quarter. EBITDA rose 37% YoY to ₹6,866 crore, compared with ₹5,013 crore reported in Q3 last year. Despite the substantial increase in absolute EBITDA, the operating margin remained flat at 29.4% on a YoY basi.
