Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) reported robust growth in its Q2 FY26 earnings, driven by strong operational performance and improving asset quality. The company’s net profit jumped 41.5% year-on-year to ₹549 crore, up from ₹388 crore in the same quarter last year.
Revenue for the quarter rose 26.2% YoY to ₹2,057.3 crore, compared with ₹1,630.4 crore in Q2 FY25, reflecting steady growth in lending and project financing activities in the renewable energy sector.
Interest income also saw a significant boost, with Net Interest Income (NII) up 49.5% YoY to ₹817 crore, compared with ₹547 crore a year ago, highlighting IREDA’s strong lending momentum.
Asset quality remained healthy, with Gross NPA declining to 3.97% in Q2 from 4.13% in the previous quarter, signaling effective risk management and collection efficiency.
