Hyundai Motor India reported a steady performance in the third quarter, posting year-on-year growth across key financial metrics despite a challenging operating environment.
Revenue for the quarter increased 7.5% to Rs 17,453 crore compared with Rs 16,242 crore in the corresponding period last year, supported by stable domestic demand and a resilient product mix.
Operating performance remained firm, with EBITDA rising 7.4% year-on-year to Rs 1,960 crore from Rs 1,825 crore. The EBITDA margin stood unchanged at 11.2%, indicating that cost pressures were largely offset by pricing discipline and operational efficiencies. The flat margin highlights the company’s ability to maintain profitability even as input costs and competitive intensity remain elevated in the auto sector.
Net profit for the quarter grew 6.3% year-on-year to Rs 1,195 crore, compared with Rs 1,124 crore in the same quarter last year.
