Gujarat Fluorochemicals Ltd reported a muted performance for the third quarter, with declines in profit as well as operating metrics on a year-on-year basis.

The company’s net profit fell 18.3% to ₹103 crore in Q3, compared with ₹126 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue remained largely steady, slipping 1% to ₹1,136 crore from ₹1,148 crore in the year-ago period, indicating relatively stable demand conditions but limited topline growth.

At the operating level, EBITDA declined 6.5% to ₹275 crore versus ₹294 crore in the same quarter last year. EBITDA margin also moderated to 24.2% from 25.6% a year ago, reflecting pressure on profitability during the quarter.

The results suggest that while the company managed to maintain its revenue base, earnings were impacted by softer operating performance and margin compression. Investors will closely track management commentary and demand trends in the coming quarters to assess whether margins stabilise and growth momentum improves.
