Exide Industries reported a modest year-on-year improvement in its financial performance for the third quarter, with growth recorded across profit, revenue, and operating earnings, while margins remained unchanged.

For Q3, the company posted a net profit of ₹257 crore, marking a 4.9% increase compared to ₹245 crore reported in the same quarter last year. The rise in profit was supported by steady revenue growth and stable operating margins.

Revenue from operations during the quarter stood at ₹4,029 crore, up 4.7% year-on-year from ₹3,848 crore in the corresponding period of the previous financial year. The topline growth indicates stable demand conditions during the quarter.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) increased by 4.6% to ₹469 crore, compared with ₹448.4 crore in Q3 of the previous year. Despite the rise in EBITDA, the operating margin remained flat at 11.60% on a year-on-year basis, reflecting limited change in cost structures.
