Eimco Elecon (India) Limited reported a significant year-on-year (YoY) decline in profit for the quarter ended September 30, 2025 (Q2 FY26). The company’s net profit dropped to ₹5.35 crore, compared to ₹13.06 crore in the same quarter last year, reflecting weaker operational performance.

Revenue from operations came in at ₹33.23 crore, down 50% from ₹66.62 crore reported in Q2 FY25. Total income, including other income, stood at ₹37.50 crore as against ₹74.73 crore in the previous year’s corresponding quarter.

Total expenses during the quarter were ₹30.61 crore, compared to ₹53.53 crore a year ago. Profit before tax fell to ₹6.89 crore from ₹19.21 crore in Q2 FY25, while total tax expense stood at ₹1.54 crore versus ₹6.15 crore last year.

For the half-year ended September 2025, Eimco Elecon posted a net profit of ₹19.83 crore, down from ₹27.84 crore in the same period of FY25. Revenue for the half year stood at ₹100.80 crore, compared to ₹136.63 crore in the previous year.

In the meantime, Eimco Elecon shares dropped 12% after the Q2 announcement. As of 2:20 PM, the shares were trading 12.56% lower at Rs 2,012.00.
