Bharti Airtel has announced its Q3 financial results, reflecting steady operational growth on a quarter-on-quarter basis, supported by higher revenues, improving margins, and a continued rise in mobile ARPU. While net profit witnessed a slight decline, core business performance remained resilient during the quarter.

For the third quarter, Bharti Airtel reported a net profit of ₹6,630.5 crore, marking a decline of 2.4% compared with ₹6,791.7 crore in the previous quarter. The marginal dip in profit came despite strong operating performance, indicating the impact of higher costs and other non-operational factors.

Revenue for the quarter increased by 3.5% quarter-on-quarter to ₹53,981.6 crore, up from ₹52,145.4 crore. The growth was driven by stable demand across mobile and data services, along with continued improvement in customer monetisation.

EBITDA rose 4% QoQ to ₹30,782.2 crore from ₹29,561.4 crore in the previous quarter, highlighting strong operating leverage. The EBITDA margin also expanded to 57%, compared with 56.7% in the last quarter, underlining better cost control and improved efficiency.

A key highlight of the quarter was the continued improvement in average revenue per user. Mobile ARPU stood at ₹259, registering a 1.2% quarter-on-quarter increase, supported by premiumisation, tariff discipline, and a higher share of data-consuming users.
